At Home At Bear (And It's All Your Fault)
It's been a few months now since I started playing around here on Bear, and I think I've decided that I'm a little bit in love with the place.
I like fiddling around with things here: changing the layout of my blog, adding images, adding links, taking links away. Everything feels so much more fluid than my OG Wordpress home, much more loosey-goosey.
I like that my lack of coding skills means finding ways to work around problems and within my meager skillset (and sometimes getting help from friends who know their way around CSS--you know who you are!).
I like how Bear feels so much like the internet of old, before it was gobbled up by Facebook and Twitter and all of those giant corporate profit machines.
I like the people I've talked to from here, and the people I haven't talked to yet (I'll get to you eventually, trust me).
I like feeling at home here.
Thanks, everybody.
