Connecting the Dots
I understand abstractly that the Internet is a global thing (world wide web and all; it’s right there in the name), but wherever I check the analytics page of my account and see where the eyeballs are coming from, it’s a little bit crazy to me. Who are you folks on the other side of the world?
No, seriously: who ARE you? I want to know! What country are you in? What brings you to my neck of the web?
There’s a link at the bottom of this post to an email form, and if you’d be so inclined, I’d love to know where you’re coming in from. I don’t need your home address or anything, but I’d like to get an idea of who is where, just for my own funsies. Maybe I’ll get myself a map and start putting pins on it, connect the dots with thread, make one of those displays that they always use in the movies when they want to show that someone’s gone crazy.
I’m not crazy.
I’m just interested.
