Two Day Holiday
It’s been a long time since we’ve taken a road trip, and even longer since we’ve been able to spend the night away from home (you try doing that with a dog, two cats, and fifteen chickens). We figured some day we’d be able to do it though, and TODAY IS THAT DAY.
Ahem.
It’s only an over-nighter, to visit relatives, but we’re also meeting up with the lady who is my longest-lasting internet friendship (what is it now? Sixteen or seventeen years?), and that will be fun. We haven’t spent hardly any time in the same geographic location with one another in all that time, but that’s irrelevant, especially in the Internet age.
It’s certain to be a good day.
