Winter is Coming (No, I'm Not Talking About Game of Thrones)
Hello from Maine, where the low in two days is predicted to be -9 degrees. That's an improvement over the forecast from a few days back, when they were saying -11.
Let's don't talk about wind chill. If you don't talk about it, maybe it won't show come around.
Oh, hello there, estimated snow accumulation of sixteen inches. How exciting is that?
Spoiler: not very exciting at all.
Now, I'm not complaining, not really. I live in Maine. And it's winter. We have a generator, and a snow blower, and a wood furnace and pellet stove. We're not going to die in the next few days.
But just because it's coming, doesn't mean that I have to like it.
